History

Taking the better part of five years to complete, the finished house featured indoor plumbing, a tennis court, swimming pool, and a carbide gas lighting system which were considered a rarity within homes at the time.

T. B. Ripy enjoyed this house until his passing in 1902.  Afterwards, his wife Sally Fidler Ripy, affectionately referred to as "Ma'am Ripy" would call this home for many years, even welcoming grand-children and great-grandchildren.
